Halloween time!

We went to a Halloween Party last week-end dressed as "cowboys" Everyone said we looked like "hicks" so I guess we played the part well :) It was a lot of fun we even won a game! Dave wrapped me in 1 roll of toilet paper the best he could to look like a mummy! It was awesome! These unfortunately are the only 2 pictures I got before we left.Last night we carved pumpkins, David definitely keeps me a kid at heart. About once a week I think or say "we don't have kids yet we shouldn't have to do this?" Ei: pumpkins, frightmares.
I hate "carving" so I bought these cute little faces and I was literally done before hubs even got all his guts cleaned out. I did end up gutting mine so he could do this with his pumpkin! I know I am a nice wifey :)
I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!!

Frightmares...

Last week-end David, Tricia, Jeral, & I took at day trip down to Lagoon. We had a lot of fun other than Jeral "doesn't do rides" and getting a sour carmal apple. That is basically that... not feeling like story time today so just look at the pictures and knew we had a good time :)

Deer Season...

Which is usually a time I do not care too much about but Jeral has taken a like into it so I have too! We went up where the cows were Wolverine or Taylor where ever it is to find us a deer. No such luck but we had a good time and spotted a huge bull moose just about 20 yards off the trail it was awesome! I kept saying deer, moose, bear when really it was just a cow so when I did spot a different moose first and said moose no one even looked! I had to say it like 5 times before they decided maybe it really was more than just a cow. My question is... why do moose stand there and look at you while deer take one peek and run? Getting unloaded. Jeral's hat was almost as cool as mine!

Spike & I on the back of the 4-wheeler while David drives taking a moment for a quick photo :)

So much snow up there already! Love it!

David & Jeral! After this picture David said... "did that look gay?" Ha ha! Slightly.

Sad this picture is so dark but that's us and I love the hat I found to borrow in the back of my dad's truck!

Birthday parties & Nieces Night!

Gaby turned 10 this weekend so we had cake and celebrated before the "nieces night" began! We also went skating Friday night- which was a blast and I dominated :) it is kinda like riding a bike you don't really forget how to do it after all these years. Skating pictures to come, I forgot my camera so I need to borrow some from Tricia :)

Gaby and her Hannah Montana cake!

Elise enjoying "Hannah's head"

Cookie making and decorating!

Our girls night begins rockin 80's style with headbands. They loved them!

Uncle Ducks huge cookie- the girls thought he was the coolest!

It kept them busy for a long time decorating and the kitchen showed it!

Cookie cutter time!

They have a thing with hiding under the table? Not really sure, but it's cute!!

The Girls Cookie Outcome!

This was such a fun week-end the nieces love getting together and we love them all so much. Some more than others this time around we had a few whiney one's :) Maybe next time we will split them up but that would require 2 week-ends in a row instead of just 1 crazy busy! I dunno we'll see!

And at last... Bed Time!!

Halloween decor and new bathroom set :)

I love this time of year, when it starts to get cool outside!
My 3 favorite things about this season and time are:
1- Hoodie weather!
2-Driving with the windows down and the heat on high :) Dave & I's favorite past-time.
3-The smells, colors and my Snuggie!!

Newest addition our front door decoration :)

Oh I love me some candy corn!

A witch my mom let me borrow last year because we had no decorations and when she came over she said "hey, I was just looking for that." Oops- finders keepers :)

I put up Halloween decorations right after I took a hot bath, turned the heater on, wrapped up in my Snuggie, while dinner was cooking, and an autumn candle going. Does it get better than that? I read my friend Valerie's blog and it was almost the exact thing minus the decor and she loved how chili it was that night so apparently this is something other people enjoy too!!

Just had to share our new adorable bathroom set we got at

Apparently we love brown, blue-ish and squares. Its the same colors as our bedroom set but our bedroom set it circles- just noticed when I took this picture!

Prison...

I do not know what my weird obsession with prison's are but I am so intrigued by them I can not get enough info on them and learning about them sparks some crazy interest in me. I just might decide to go back to school and get my foot in the door of a real jail/prison one day! I have so many strong feelings about these places and people in them I truly feel like this is my place in the world I could make a difference. Sari and I took a day trip to Boise and while we were there we toured the old Idaho State Penitentiary... awesome it was!!

This is the "drop room" literally! Only 1 man was executed here because they hung him moved the floor from under his feet and it didn't snap his neck and kill him instantly as planned instead he strangled for 20 minutes before he was pronounced dead. Its said he haunts the place because of that and not getting a chance to collect his thoughts for his final words and it does have a creepy feeling in there... why I love this? I am really not sure.

This is probably the prettiest part of the old penitentiary the "rose garden" it's where prisoners were hung in the old days but then too many people were climbing the hill behind it and watching so they moved it inside. Clever!

Outside view. These sidewalks only the guards were allowed to walk on. And the buildings you see off to the side is all the old housing.

Me being locked up! We literally had to pull that thing shut and I was a little afraid it wasn't going to open back up. I was trying to hard not to smile!!
These are all tiny rooms four stories high at one time full of prisoner's!

This was seriously one little shower for heaven knows how many guys to share. And that's me washing my hair :)

After a riot in the Dining Hall prisoners burnt it down to this, I love how its as is!

More cells! This one was for the minimum security I believe because it was a lot less freaky. There was even a "barber cell" for when you went to get a haircut!

I have a ton of pictures and these were just a few I decided to give you all a sneak peek of it was such a fun little trip for Sari & I and so interesting. I even learned a thing or two. Like...

-the difference between jail and prison.

-Idaho still believes in the death penalty and there are 20 people (including 1 woman) on death row RIGHT NOW!

-the place is pretty much inhumane

-I am still convinced there are good people locked up. Did anyone hear about the man who was behind bars for 18 years and on death row that just got released for being wrongfully convicted? He is now suing the State of Idaho for I believe $5 million!

5th Birthday Party...

Roz & Brook celebrated their 5th birthday on Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa's spooky house! Since I had to work until 4 and it started at 5 we didn't dress up but the kids sure did have fun!! They had a trick or treat lane that I didn't get any picture of because I was part of and of course a ton of fun and exciting presents!!

I was trying to get a picture of "salt and pepper" but pepper kept saying, "I want a picture with my boyfriend pie and the dog."

Dad is the Eddy's Bread mom and Jeral a pimp maybe? I dunno it's that weird age.

Mom of course the M&M

Girls getting ready to blow out their birthday cupcakes!

This was my input in the party they turned out so fun and yummy- thanks again for the help Sari! I would probably still be trying to frost those things without her help :)
