What's new?!?!

What a busy summer already! First off, David and I bought new bikes :) Pretty stoked about my cruiser- not gonna lie. More pictures to come of his as well. We love to be outside doing things but he isn't much of a walker so he pinkie promised if we got bikes he could go bike riding around Ucon a lot, a lot!! Yay! In the meantime here is picture of my bike:

I also got a new ring... which I love but am not so sure I am proud of and I hate to brag. We have never loved my wedding ring because it was white gold and with my job it always seemed to be looking yellow and dull. So one evening when David drug me to the mall (I hate the mall) for him to make a small purchase I went into the ring store to get my rings cleaned and in the meantime I was complaining about how I loved my ring because my hubby bought it and picked it out for me but mostly that's the ONLY reason and I went on and on because I can and I was already in a pissy mood. Needless to say this salesmen named Andrew was just the guy I needed to change my night. I walked out of there with a brand new palladium ring that is absolutely beautiful and has a little bigger diamond than my original ring :) Although I did cry a bit and David had to tell me numerous times that it was OK and if I was happy, he was happy!

Yay to a new ring, new bikes and a crazy busy fun filled summer!

Memorial Week-end...

I must start by saying we are not that crazy family that goes camping every Memorial weekend because we love rain and spending time with the rest of Utah in the forest. Not us! We go camping because we love the outdoors and being ALONE with nothing but our 4-wheelers, a camp fire and some cold beverages (mtn. dew of course) This year we went up to Bone which is probably one of my favorite places in this entire world, it's right up there by Hawaii! We are 3 locked gates and about 7-9 miles in from the "real world" as I like to call it. Once we get past that first gate it's like there isn't a care in the world and I adore that feeling. We had a blast this weekend exploring new trails, eating around a camp fire, and sleeping in the cold! But we (David) also tipped the 4-wheeler and launched us off the side for the first and hopefully the last time! I slid on my head/shoulder for about 6 feet and David flew literally in the air for at least 10 ft. All I remember is opening my eyes as I am still moving and Dave is running up the hill and is pulling me to my feet asking if I am OK before I even knew what hurt. It happened so fast I just laughed not knowing what I would say was wrong if I started to cry. We got back to my dad at camp when I realized my ankle, leg, and shoulder hurt; the entire side of my left body was covered in mud and my hair had chunks of mud. When I started to tell my dad the story I began to cry... ha reliving it and remembering I was in pain I guess when all the sudden I realized my nagging back that usually always hurts felt amazing! So I guess 1 good thing did come out of the accident.
Once we got home and unloaded we headed to wash David's truck when we got a sudden urge for a snow cone. We waited in line for 45 minutes and right when we ordered the ice machine broke, such our luck- but we got free coupons for next time! Overall a great week-end!!
Now it's back to work and reality!
David getting ready to go shoot guns... I am a bomb shot by the way!
We decided to take all 3 dogs up this year. Rox had fun I think she was confused most of the time wondering where we were and what we were doing.

Pit stop for a Mountain Dew brake!!
