**So after reading "review" type things on this concert I realized a lot of people weren't too impressed and it's why I loved it the reason being: the man is real!! He messed up words in his own songs, ran out of breath, nearly tripped, gave credit where credit was due, shared the mic w/his band, stayed after to sign autographs on stage, picked up a little girl off her dad's shoulders to give her a hug I just loved it!! Oh and it wasn't just my opinion on Miranda Lambert sucking it was definitely a unanimous one!

Also as we were getting ready to leave some drunk half naked girl ran up on the stage toward "the Kenny" and just before she got to him security got her and he really like backed security off gave her a hug she laid a big kiss on his cheek and she went skipping off stage so happy!

Why couldn't I have been the drunken girl chasing the man on stage? The world may never know :)

Country girl at heart!!

Finally getting a chance to blog about our amazing 2 day adventure to Utah. When we finally got to the Rio Tinto (soccer arena Kenny played at) it was about 3:30 and 109 degrees. Hell it was hot! That also included a $25 taxi ride, ouch! The girl from Sugarland lost her voice so they didn't come but Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert did. It was a fun concert huge place and it was all outside so that was nice once it cooled off. Lady Antebellum only played probably max 5 songs which was a little disappointing once Miranda got on stage- this was our time to go find a snack. After paying $5 for nachos $4.50 for a bottled water and about an hour later we headed back to our seats to watch Miranda wrap it up which we were grateful for. (she was just like "hardcore" flipped her hair around head banging and banging on the guitar- not impressed! Finally about 8:30 Kenny came on. Mind you this was suppose to start at 5:30.

He was so worth the wait. He put on an excellent show and is definitely eye candy to put it blunt he is so amazingly hot. Best part he had on cut off shirt, cowboy hat and cowboy boots-

when he came out for the encore he changed to a Utah State ball cap- how cute!

Second best part- I got cinnamon almonds at the concert although they were $5 for a mini one I may not have to go to the State fair just to get them this year :)

Petting Zoo!

I tease my parents that their house has become a petting zoo. We have our chocolate lab mix Roxie and my parents got a little Shiz-zu (I can't spell that) Oreo and my little brother just came home with a black lab boarder collie mix Rascal. A little back ground growing up we always had a dog but it was usually an outside dog that no one really liked and didn't pay much attention to. We aren't really a "house pet" animal lover. Okay so we flat out hate animals in the house or even around it for the most part- harsh I know. So now between us, my parents, and bro we have 3 dogs, who would have thought? I decided they needed to get together and meet one another so we took our 'moose' to my parents house for a visit.

Kenny Tomorrow!!

I am so excited to go see Kenny Chesney tomorrow I can barely stand myself! I feel like a teenage girl with butterflies all over again. I've said a few times today..."tomorrow is the day I have been waiting for since I was 16." I also had a funny convo with my sister in law via messanger just now it went something like this...

Me: I hope he wears a cowboy hat and button down shirt... or tank top... or no shirt I guess I will be happy no matter what he wears.

Tricia: As long as his hats on and the pants are tight I dont think I care.

Ha, I laughed so hard. Random fact I read- the average person laughs 13 times a day. My life must be a joke because I laugh so much more than that!!

Fruit Pizza...

This is what happens when it's slow at work... I spend all my spare time catching up on gossip magazines and looking at new recipes to try. I had a major fruit craving and this seemed to satisfy it!!

Sub Zero Ice Cream

If you haven't been here, it's a must try!! We recently found it when one of our friends suggest we try it out and are basically addicted. You pick your size, how heavy of cream, flavors and mix-ins and right before your eyes they make liquid into frozen ice cream using liquid nitrogen and the steam rolls off like putting dry ice in homemade rootbeer... you all know what I am talking about. It's amazing and so much fun- the kids love it. Last night we took my family for a late Happy Birthday present to mom and they really enjoyed it. Our choices were all small's with premium milk- it's the best most fattening and really creamy :)

Shoot- this is horrible I don't know how to shrink the pictures. I am not this obsessed with the man a swear... however in 1 week from today right now, this minute I will be headed down to the great place of Sandy, Utah to watch this man perform. I am so excited, we've had the tickets for months now and I can not wait. Big thanks to my amazing mother-in-law and favorite sister in law to always remember me when exciting things and concerts are happening!! WOO!!!

Birdie?!?!

To make a long story very short (because I am ready for bed). Up camping no one shot anything. Jeral (my little bro) missed shots left and right- once we got back to my parents and unloaded, we were just sitting around chill-axing and a whole bunch of birds flew in the field across the street. After a small convo of no one knowing what they were, kinda more like ducks but long beaks (sp?) I said give me a gun I will go shoot one and we can examine it. Everyone just laughed because I have probably only shot a gun a total of 2 times once a BB and once a paintball gun :) Jeral gave me a quick lesson on how to hold the gun and how to aim. Much to every one's suprise including mine I shot the bird with a 22. Amazing! I got $5 out of the deal and bragging rights for a week!!

Week-end Fun!!

Just a few random pictures to show our love for the camping and the outdoors!! Getting fire wood is proably my least favorite part hence thats all the pictures I got and the rest of the time we were four-wheeling, roasting hot dogs, and mostly sitting around the camp fire enjoying each other and the beautiful weather with no wind!!

Ode to days off...

I love having days off in the week. Not that I don't love and adore my wonderful husband being home with me but it's so nice to wake up early on my days off get the house clean and tidy then just enjoy my day usually with lots of R & R and running around paying bills, grocery shopping, errands, you know the duties of being married and all grow up. These are a few pictures to show my favorite things to do on my days off: try new recipes and hang out with my adorable nieces that I love so much. They just got new hats and shades and they were so excited :)

So I have spent over 30 minutes trying to figure out how to put pictures up, I finally figured it out but now do not know how to shrink them so they only fit in the little space I am given and aren't taking up my whole page... help!!
