Dear Arby's...

Bad experience and yes I sent this to coorporate :) and yes I feel better after venting!
My family and I was having a late dinner, it was about 7:45 when we entered the restaurant- not knowing that they closed at 8:00 on Sunday's because we are from a town with different hours obviously. The girl who took our order was really rude and snappy to us, we were a little confused until we realized they were cleaning up assuming it was closing time. We were hurrying to finish eating but at about 8:10 a man came to the front leaned over the counter and said "could you guys finish up we are trying to close?" We were all still eating and just looked at each other. I have worked fast food so I know how it is to be trying to close when people is still in the dining area but looking around the condiment area was dirty and needed taken down, surrounding tables obviously needed wiped down, garbage's were full and after going into the restrooms they needed cleaned too! I was so surprised I said to the girl who took our order "couldn't you clean up other things besides our 1 table while we finish eating?" And she replied "its policy we can't vacuum until all customers are gone." I understand that but how about everything else that needed done in the store is it priority vacuuming be done first? This was a ridiculous experience and although our food was amazing (as usual) fresh and prompt it ruined our entire experience and I will NEVER return to that location! Thanks for listening to our experience and taking corrective actions to ensure this never happens to another guest.

Mesa Falls...

Dave has been wanting to take me up here for months so finally Sunday afternoon we decided to take a drive. It was so much fun and so beautiful with all the leaves changing and the crisp air- I love this time of year. He even took me to Frost Top (my favorite little diner in the heart of Ashton) for lunch and splurged with a marshmallow-Oreo shake. YUM!!
I loved that some of the trees were still green, while others yellow and orange. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

The lower falls!!US :) I love that I am rockin the pony and my hubs looks hott :)

Upper falls were HUGE and amazing. who knew there was this kind of beauty so close to home.

Even a nice little walk way to get down to the falls, it was so pretty and really nice outside that day too!!

Dinner and perms...

Friday night was a L-O-N-G night at work, a girl came in to get her hair cut 2 minutes before close... it started she just wanted a trim which was fine but that turned into a shampoo, looking through style books for days and a full blown style afterwards... dang it!! But this is what

I came home too... how sweet!! Notice the foil over our plates to keep it warm :)

Brooklyn decided she wanted curly hair like her auntie :) so here we are giving the little one a perm just 2 days before their 5th birthday!!

She did pretty good, better than I expected, by the end she was over it and started to get crabby and tired. Notice her sucking on a perm rod... it was keeping her too entertained for me to tell her how many heads that thing has been on. ew..

This is us and her "grandma" face she kept saying "I look like an old grandma!"

All smiles as she patiently awates for curly hair!!

Few... we made it. She is so adorable and looks so cute. I love my nieces so much!!

Oh and I should add Roz was also very patient during this adventure we were putting her sister through too!!

Broken...

Everything I touch is turning to... broken! I went to put my make-up on this morning and there were a few loose pieces so I turned it upside down and it all fell out eyeshadow and bronzer. Luckily, I rescued the eyeshadow but the bronzer broke into a million tiny pieces and it's history. Thought that expensive Mary Kay stuff was magnetic... well the case was but the product inside of it didn't fit properly... obviously!! Dang it!

In other broken news... Our vacuum is now in the garbage... barely a year old. And to secure my husbands masculinity I will not embarrass him and tell you all what he did to blow it up... needless to say we are in search of another one and my house shows it!

Dance time...

My nieces did a mini-dance type thing with the HoneyBee's at Bonneville today. They practiced so hard all day so the parents and family could come and watch what they learned and preform for them. It was adorable although I didn't get very good pictures unfortunately!

Roz did really good, by the end she was so tired she kept trying to suck her thumb and since we was front row we would say no get your thumb out of your mouth, ha poor girl! She danced her little heart out and she kept putting her hands in front of her face because she was being shy!

Brooklyn did so good too. Her shirt was too big and came untucked and she even lost her ponytail that was keeping her hair out of her face. Hard day! When the older girls were preforming Dave and I was talking and she yelled across the gym, "Tiffy, Dave, why aren't you clapping?" Just as everyone quit clapping. We made sure we clapped everytime thereafter!!!

Date night...

My work has been crazy busy. Back to school plus 2 girls short so I have been on work overhaul I worked every single day last week plus like 12 days in a row and as much as I love and value my job and hate to complain I decided I needed a Saturday off. They are too far and few between and it was my turn. Since I was off at 5 Friday, Dave and I decided we would have a date night which doesn't happen often enough either. I was so excited and it was definitely something to look forward too. So I told him you can choose where we go I knew I was safe because we like the same restaurants and although his movie choices aren't always my top favorites I always seem to enjoy them just fine. I had to work until almost 6 so the night got started late but we ended up at Garcia's where we shared our fav- pollo fundito, its the bomb and the only thing either of us really like there. After that we wanted ice cream but was too full and wanted to see a movie but was getting a little tired... it was almost 9:00 :) So we opt out of our prior plans, hit Hollywood Video for a rental made some popcorn and fell asleep before the movie even ended.

... are we already getting old??

What used to be an all night adventure with embracing "I don't want you to leave" hugs turns into sleeping until mid morning on the couch, backs toward each other and sound asleep!

**Just as a side note Dave also said something I thought was really sweet this weekend, "it's nice to have a partner that works just as hard as I do." and although I laughed and said "or a little harder" it meant a lot because those of you who know David knows he is a hard worker sun up until sun down most the time doesn't even have time for lunch. That was sweet :) Thanks babe!

Saturday night... what?

No this is not how I intend to spend my entire Saturday night... just a majority of it. Dave left me yesterday to go and enjoy his Labor Day week-end in the wilderness- exactly where I wish I was. Instead, I got to work a hour later tonight and get to work on my day off tomorrow. Oh and who dare think we would be closed on Monday, that's right open 10-5. The joys of being a manager. So other than that I think I will go decorate my house with Autumn and Fall decor and possibly call it a early night.

Have a great week-end everyone!!
