Go vote!!

If you haven't voted yet, it's not too late. Well not for another hour that is :) So get off your bum and go vote- that's where I am headed then after hopefully to Reeds Dairy for some well needed ice cream.

And bet your bottom dollar the only reason I am headed out to the polls is to vote for this guy...

(I just dedicated an entire post to a politician, weird. But I really, really like him and he stands for everything that I do... GO CHICK!!!)

Hats...

I decided to buy a new hat, the first hat I have ever owned in fact. I was at an accessory party and tried on this "dorky" looking hat just to be funny and get a laugh out of my mom and sis when an unanimous decision was made... We loved it!! I had no idea when I would ever wear a hat but in hopes we go camping and four-wheeling a ton this summer I thought it would be a good way to cover my frizzy hair and get it out of my face. Then I woke up this morning (@ 10 a.m mind you, I love my life) on my only day off this week, with a million errands to run, and of course it was pouring rain. When in the shower I remembered I had this amazing hat. Now I am home with my cute hat and no frizzy hair while still looking stylin' while I was out and about.

I may turn into a hat girl... only time will tell!!

At the same accessory party I also found this adorable hat for a baby and HAD to buy it, I also got a cute little yellow head band and the flower is just on a clippy so it's reusable :) But who did I buy it for you ask? Well her name is Brekka (Brecka, Brecca) {sp?} and while I already know she is the cutest little girl in this entire world she is our unborn and NOT conceived little girl. Ha, I know I am a bit crazy but I couldn't pass up the opportunity and lets face it I am getting slightly baby hungry as our 2 year anniversary approaches!

I was getting ready to make these...

Pulled out a pan

and found this...

A freaking mouse!! Are you kidding me? I screamed like a little school girl before I realized I was home alone and had to take care of the little creature myself. UGH!! I threw the pan away and washed and sanatized all of the pans that were in the same place before I actually made the cookies so I think they are safe :)

Wish I had some exciting news...

BUT I DON'T!!! :(

2 random things that are on my mind...

1. My little brother should not be old enough to:

a. be in high school

b. go to dances

c. have a driving permit

d. going to get his license soon

e. be taller than me

f. be able to beat me up

g. look so handsome

h. have random peach fuzz on his face

i. or have leg hair

j. or arm hair

k.or all the other random places he is growing hair (armpits, knuckles etc...)

l. have a curfew of 1:00 A.M

m. LOVES a girl

n. rides a motorcycle that I can't even reach the ground when sitting on the seat

o. has an opinion about everything

p. says he is "pissed off"

q. his feet are HUGE

r. most of his pants from the beginning on the school year are high-waters (?)

s. he "hangs out" w/friends on the weekends instead of w/me.. NO NO NO!!!

2. Why does it seem like the older I get... the faster life goes?

I spent my younger days wanting to date, drive, live on my own, turn 18, turn 21, wanting to get married and work to make money so I could buy whatever I want. Now, I am thinking I can't wait to have kids and start a family but in the back of my head wondering if in 10 years I will look back and ask myself why I couldn't just live for the moment? Why can't I just enjoy where I am in life instead of always wanting the next step?

For the second time in my life...

My hubby bought me flowers!!

I came home to a spot less clean house Saturday with these beauty's awaiting me on the dresser, what a nice man!! Although it took an ugly fight the night before he swore he did this for me "just because." Either way I love getting roses especially ones this amazing.
