3 years and counting...

Today is David and I's 3rd anniversary. I must say this has been the funnest, hardest, most adventurous, stressful, rewarding and crazy fun 3 years of my life... I think he would agree. I love David, he is wonderful!

p.s. we temporarily no longer have Internet... hence my lack of posts. Hopefully we'll be up and running again shortly.

Adios!

photographer in the making…

A few of the pictures B took while her perm processed. This girl loves the phone and the camera…

She was pretty excited when there was only 50 minutes left on the timer…

Convo…

I permed… okay re-permed- this cute niece of mine’s hair today, again! She loves to take self portraits of herself and any random things in the room she feels like (maybe that will be my next post) I am DREADING these girls leaving I can’t even explain how much I love and miss them already. Knowing this will be one of the last times just the 2 of us will be alone for a while I opt to perm her hair after hours so we could turn the music up at the salon, dance, sing, and spend time without interruption. I loved every minute of it!

B

She HAD to be home by 5:00 to go fishing…On our way home this convo took place:

Me: So B are you ready to go back to Pennsylvania?

B: No, I want to stay here and spend more time with my family.

Me: I know I want that too, but you will be so happy to see your mom again.

B: Yeah, I miss my mom but I just want all my family to live together in Idaho again.

Me: {sigh} while driving I put on my glasses and shed a few tears thinking to myself me too B, me too.

A few minutes pass…

B: Aunt TIffy?

Me: yes Brooklyn?

B: You told me it was only 4:45 and we would be home by 5:00 to go fishing, but that clock says it’s 6:13…

oops, I forget they are getting smarter and I can’t fool them any longer.

it’s almost that time…

time where my nieces have to go back to that state. That state I dislike oh so very much. That state that took my sweet nieces and awesome sister away from me… chew on this PennsylBania!

Nonetheless it was a great visit and I am so lucky they were able to come home and spend some much needed quality time with their favorite Auntie (oh, and the rest of the family) Here is a recap of some of our favorite things…

However, I can not get over the fact he looks like my brother in law! Seriously, he stands like him, smirks like him, smiles like him, nods like him, holds his mouth like him. UGH! I just want to drool over Mr. Aldean but every freaking time I see a picture or hear his voice it makes me think of Daniel… and day dreaming over your bro in laws twin is just not cool.

couponing…

please don’t consider me an extreme couponer… yet! I am getting pretty good at this however. I got all this food for a measly $14 at the local Fred Meyer (shout out to them for having good deals and great coupons)

food

orange soda X 4 for a total of 5 cases

gallon of milk

5 packages of Tillamock cheese

Chips, salsa, and tortillas.

Boo-yah! I feel good about it Smile

we went tubing…

it was fun… kinda.

boating

I am deathly afraid of water, but not going to let it ruin a good day with family and fun in the sun- on a boat. I got daring enough to get on the tube, hopefully I will NEVER get that brave again. Although I admit it was a good time.
